State-of-the-Art Dental Technology for Improved Care
Impression Dental Care provides a comprehensive suite of dental services with the latest equipment & products to deliver the finest in dental care.

Imaging & Diagnosis
Cone Beam 3D System–Kodak 9500 – This Cone Beam 3D scanner helps the dental specialist see the exact position and orientation of wisdom teeth, TMJ (temporomandibular joint), sinuses, airway, and other major structures. This technology assists inaccurate treatment of Root Canals, Extractions, TMJ, Sleep Apnea and Orthodontics. It also allows the patient to fully to see and understand the specialist’s treatment plan.
Digital X-Rays – With the aid of sophisticated software, digital x-rays provide more information, detect disease earlier & reduce radiation exposure by up to 90%.
Intraoral Camera – This sophisticated intraoral camera magnifies the smallest cracks and details on the teeth with amazing clarity. We are then able to better locate dental issues that might have been hard to diagnosis properly.
Velscope Cancer Screening – During the exam, the Velscope will emit a safe blue light into the oral cavity causing it to fluoresce. The clinician is then able to immediately view the different fluorescence responses to help differentiate between normal and abnormal tissues. Read more about Oral Cancer & The Velscope Exam>>
Smile Imaging – With Computer imaging and 3-D Wax smile preview how cosmetic dentistry can enhance your teeth, smile, and image.
Laser Treatments
Soft Tissue Laser – Laser technology’s unique features offer anti-bacterial therapy for gum disease, aesthetic gum recontouring, bone loss, ulcer and “cold sore” treatments and gingival pigmentation reduction.
Biostimulation Laser – This exciting dental technology is a non-invasive high-intensity laser that sends healing/repair signals to damaged cells. It accelerates orthodontic treatment, helps with tooth hypersensitivity, pulpits, trigeminal neuralgia, TMD and paresthesias. The laser penetrates the bone, nerve, muscle, ligament & tendon tissue, and reduces acute & chronic inflammation as well as acute & chronic joint & soft tissue pain. The Biostimulation Laser can also aid in post-surgery healing.
Laser Cavity Scanner – Helps detect early cavities that cannot be seen visually or by X-ray, preventing more expensive and extensive procedures. Most importantly it allows us to conserve healthy tooth structure.
Tmj Treatment
Myomonitor (TENS Unit) – Myomonitor, a special transcutaneous electrical stimulating device allows us to determine what the best position for your jaw, joint and teeth are. This amazing technology guides us in restoring all or portion of your bite in the most neuromuscularly comfortable position.
BioJVA (Joint Vibration Analysis) – This system records the joint vibrations, quickly and non-invasively as they pass through the tissue. The results can help assess your TMJ health and aid in proper TMD & Orthodontic treatment, Dental Reconstruction as well as Sleep Apnea treatment.
T-Scan II – Treatment with the utilization of the T-Scan can help improve the life of your teeth and cosmetic restorations, implants or treat TM disorders by analyzing the patient’s occlusal balance, force and timing. The patient bites down on an ultra-thin sensor that is inserted into their dental arch and then the computer will display the diagnostic information for the doctor to design an optimal treatment plan.
Restoration
CEREC CAD/CAM Technology – State of the art CAD/CAM technology allows us to place restorations that can bond to the tooth with a strength that allows the tooth to become optimally restored. Read more about CEREC >>
Magnifying Loops – Allows for increased magnification and clarity of the oral cavity to restore with more accuracy.
PATIENT SAFETY & COMFORT
State of the Art Sterilization System – For your safety, we utilize the latest sterilization system and dental unit waterline biofilm elimination system, the Sterilox. We also adhere to the latest OSHA guidelines.
Nitrous Oxide & IV Sedation – Even though we make every effort to make our patients comfortable during dental procedures, some patients are still anxious. For these patients, we offer Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) to ensure a stress-free experience. Extensive treatments can be performed under IV sedation or general anesthesia in our on-site accredited Huntington Surgery Center.
Biocompatible Dentistry
Amalgam / Mercury Separation – We understand the importance of being environmentally conscious and abide by the highest industry standards. The amalgam mercury separator used in our office removes and contains 99% of mercury from the wastewater until properly recycled.
Special IQ Air Filtration System – IQ Air has the ability to remove 99.97% of microscopic allergens from the air if equal to or larger than 0.3 microns and 99.5% if smaller than 0.3 microns. This air filtration system, which is the leading choice among hospitals and laboratories is able to filter mercury vapor as well as microbes and other impurities in the dental operatory to ensure a clean fresh environment for the patient.
100% Oxygen Masks – This oxygen mask allows for the patient to breathe pure oxygen during their amalgam removal procedure.
Clean Up – A specially designed suction is placed directly on the tooth to remove amalgam debris and mercury vapor.
Isolite – This technology provides comfort for the patient by aiding in keeping the mouth open while protecting the patient’s airway from amalgam debris with its innovative suctioning feature.
